We stand ready to minister in song and the Eternal Word of God. If you have a spiritual hunger that only God’s Word can satisfy, then this will be a perfect time to load the family in the car and head to the house of worship. Or you may call a friend and say, let's worship today at New Life Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ where Love abounds and the saints are Spirit filled.

Meet Our Pastor
JIMMIE C. DEAS (PASTOR) is originally from Florence, South Carolina where he graduated from Wilson Senior High School. He graduated from South Carolina State University (formerly South Carolina State College) in 1971 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He is also a graduate of the General Motors and General Electric Management Programs and earned a Teacher Certificate from the Evangelical Teacher Training Association Certificate Program. Jimmie has completed the three year program at the J. D. Williams Bible Institute operated by the National Education Department of the Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc.
Jimmie repented of his sins and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at the age of eleven. He received the gift of the Holy Ghost shortly afterward. Since then, he has served in many capacities including Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Regional Youth Director, and was ordained a Deacon in 1979. He was later ordained Elder as a result of the call of God upon his life. He became Pastor of the local assembly here in Florence in January 1992.
Jimmie is married to the love of his life, Ida Ruth Deas, from Mullins, South Carolina. Jimmie and Ida have four boys: Jimmie Jr., Terrence, Christopher, and Bryan. He also has three grandchildren, Chandler, Mia, and Bryan Jr.
